(Find her books for sale on: Smashwords / Amazon / Barnes & Noble )

1. What would I find in your refrigerator right now?
LISA GRAVES: Homemade salsa and Coca Cola.  I have a salty and sweet addiction.

2. An apple costs 20 cents, an orange costs 40 cents, and a grapefruit costs 60 cents, how much is a pear?
LISA GRAVES: Let’s say that this pear is Asian.  I absolutely love Asian Pears.  Their deliciousness is worth about 200 pennies.

3. What would you do if you just inherited a pizzeria from your uncle?
LISA GRAVES: “Molto bene!  Pizza e spaghetti infiniti qui vengo!” (Very good!  Endless pizza and spaghetti here I come!) Seriously, though.  That would rock.  Spaghetti is my favorite food and I think I’m Italian.  Sono Italiano.  Buongiorno!  I’ve been teaching myself to speak the “language of love.”

Hahaha - Thanks, Lisa!

What would you do if you thought your boyfriend were a figment of your imagination?

What inspired your novel or series?Talk about writing it.
LISA GRAVES: I remember getting the initial idea for Atlantis while driving to work one day.  It was a that would be a cool book moment.  I’d had the desire to write for years, but this mind power book idea actually got me started.  Atlantis has the bones of the original idea, but it ended up forming into another mind power trip theme that I hadn’t originally intended.  I am amazed at the potential power we all possess and Atlantis is the brain-child of that fascination.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
LISA GRAVES: I live in Salt Lake City, Utah with my husband and two dogs.  I went to Super Hero University where I earned a Masters in Crime Fighting, and a Doctorate in Saving the World.  Imagination is a wonderful thing, don't you think?  Perhaps that is why I love to write.  I can go anywhere, and do anything, all within the mind of someone stronger, smarter, and braver than me (though not nearly as good looking, eh?)

I will admit that I had the desire and urge to write for many years before finally taking the plunge in January 2008, and actually started to put words on paper.  I wrote my first novel, Atlantis, in about two years.

For me, writing is addicting.  It's surreal when the characters literally (pun) come to life.  They often do and say things that I don't expect, but it ends up making the story that much better.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel writers have a mild case of multiple personality disorder.  Writers get to be many different people all at the same time (the multiple personality part.)  It's a fun, exciting, and ever changing environment to work in.  There are no boundaries in the worlds created in our minds.  I am lucky enough to share the musings of my mind with you.

I hope you enjoy the journey.

And... PAY IT FORWARD! Best Indie Author You've Read!
LISA GRAVES: R. L. Blackhurst, author of The Wolves of Solomon.  She was my first indie author friend.  Her book is also a paranormal romance, but it touches on a cool werewolf / knights templar aspect.  Be sure to check it out.
